The presence of anglicisms in both general and country-specific Spanish
has been repeatedly studied. However, there has been little study of their use in
lexicographical works. This paper studies the anglicisms in the Diccionario de uso
del español de Chile (2010), by exhibiting the differences between the Chilean and
peninsular Spanish.
