The Legal Effects of Maternity Wage on the Surrogacy

Resumo

Family law is one of the areas of law that has evolved the most in recent years in the face of modern society. Following this evolution, the concept of affiliation and the methods of conception and generation were developed by science. Modernization of IVF and the person’s desire to be a mother or father made maternity replacement, known as surrogacy, a social practice that has important consequences for the law, such as the legality of this business, its repercussions on family and succession law, and on social security law, point that it intends to focus on here. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the legal consequences of surrogacy in granting social security benefits such as maternity wages.
